Tribal Hollow Bead Necklace

This 19 inch necklace is a combination of 1.5mm greek leather and .999 fine silver beads finished with sterling silver s closure. The focal bead is approximately 1 inch high by 1/2 inch wide and the addition beads are approximately 5/16 inches in diameter. A patina was added for an accent.

The Hollow Organic Pendant Series came to life from an experiment
with organic form using a slip layering technique over a sculpted wood
clay core.  I left the shapes free flowing to have some feel of objects
found in nature such as seed pods.  In the firing process the core burns
away leaving the .999 fine silver pendant.
